Atsushi Matsuno

Personality: Atsushi is a cool, composed young man with a mature personality. He is also kind and courteous to other people. He is very competitive and looks for a good challenge. Komachi points out that he often sports a smile in order hide the guilt of his past, but Atsushi denies that. Atsushi can be pretty scary at times, mostly when he's being manipulative and cunning. Like Nagisa he does go crazy whenever he holds a pair of scissors in his hand. Only difference is that Atsushi is more aware and in control of his actions. He is close friends with Komachi since she used to babysit his brothers. Atsushi trusts her, protecting and treating her like she's a member of the family. Most people don't realize this, but Atsushi deeply regrets taking large amount of drugs. The thing he regrets the most is the emotional abuse he caused his family. Atsushi can be strange, often saying weird things at times.

Atsushi uses this unique weapon he created himself. It's a one-sided hammer with a nozzle on the other end. The nozzle on this weapon shoots cannonballs.
