Keita Ando

Hello everyone! Hope you guys are doing all right.  

My apologies for not submitting any deviations as of late. I've been pretty busy with some personal matters. But, don't worry. I'll always make time to respond to your questions and/or answers.

Keita's design took me longer than i though it would. Originally, he was to be dressed in loose robes. Over time I realized that would be very inefficient. Loose robes would restrict his movements, particularly around his legs and I did not want that. Instead, I've given him an outfit with some Chinese themes to it. Since Tai Chi Chuan is a Chinese martial art it seemed more appropriate~

I thought I had enough room to write down his info, but it turned out that I didn't. So I'll put it down here in the description so you can see the full version. Now I didn't have enough room to write down his personality or weapons, so I'll write it here.

About him: A high ranking member of Harmony's Prayer. He frequently has these emotional outbursts in which he inflicts harm on himself. As a result he is frequently covered in bandages and bruises. Sometimes he has to be restrained because he can get out of control. To keep his mental state in check, he constantly practices his martial arts. His caretaker is Masaomi. His special abilities are Tai Chi Chuan, creating illusions, and misdirection of enemy movements and/or attacks. Prior to becoming affiliated with Harmony's Prayer; Keita was the grandson of a researcher who worked in a well known research facility. Things took a turn for the worse for him and his family once his grandfather passed. As an infant he was forcibly taken away from his biological family along with several other infants. These innocent children have been chosen to become experiment subjects in this facility. They were to create a genetically enhanced instrument for war in human form. Sadly, not all of these children survived the medical procedures for the experiment, and had died instantly. Keita was one of the survivors, but he never got to know his family and had his DNA slightly altered as a result of the inhumane process. He now possessed the power and ability of a Púca, and a strong thirst for blood. Some Púca are known to thirst for blood almost as much as a vampire would. When he was 16 years old he was to partake in a training exercise along with the other survivors.  The goal was to determine who'd strongest weapon of choice to unleash onto the world. All participants were to fight to the death, the remaining fighter being the winner. Keita killed every single one of them without so much as a scratch, and was put into an isolation unit afterwards to run more tests. Every single day he was treated less like a human being and more like an experiment subject. Being in the isolation unit began to drive him mad. He began to injure himself, the violent thirst for blood messing his mind over, until finally he went into a psychotic rage. Instead of following orders from the director behind this project Keita unleashed his abilities to slaughter everyone in the room. He was close to escaping safely, but as luck would have it he found himself at gunpoint by the facility's armed forces. Several guns were fired, bullets riddling his body as he fended them off. Keita used his Púca talents to shapeshift into terrifying beasts to turn this battle in his favor. It began to work until a fighter jet shot two rounds of missiles at the poor soul. Keita had no time to move out of harms way. His body flew several feet into the air once he was hit. Keita landed in the ocean, unconscious but alive. Time passed, Keita washed up on the beach of an unknown island. For hours he went in and out of consciousness. Death would've put him out of his misery had he not been saved by Neckarios. It had taken him 5 months to recover form his wounds. Keita woke up in a daze, lost and confused. All the memories of the research facility had hit him like a ton of bricks, causing him to go into yet another psychotic rage. Neckarios and Eleazar walked into the room, the young teenager lunging at them for their blood. Eleazar restrained him and used his healing abilites to clam him down. Once he regained his humanity Keita asked were he was. Neckarios calmly explained everything as to how they found the confused teen. Keita begged for them to let him stay within Harmony's Prayer, as he did not wish to go back to evil he had escaped from. The teenager wasted no time in describing the horrors that he, and several others were put through. All Keita wanted was for that murderous factory to be destroyed for good. Years passed after he agreed to work in Harmony's Prayer, Keita had gotten his wish. However, he began to have reoccurring nightmares, flashbacks when he was awake of that incident. Those emotional outbursts are what caused him to start hurting himself. Keita refused to let the other members of HP realize his psychotic behavior grew worse with each passing day. Keita began taking Tai Chi Chuan lessons in secret seeing that this martial art has numerous health benefits. Mastering the martial art in no time with his corrupted DNA didn't do much in calming him down, nor did it matter since Mio had been secretly monitoring him. Mio warned Eleazar of the danger Keita could bring to himself and Harmony's Prayer if left alone. Eleazar took her warning into consideration, assigning Masaomi to become his caretaker. Should Keita carry his mission from HP he is to go with Masaomi and Gidela so they keep a close eye on him. When Keita isn't on a mission he is usually stealing valuable information through computer, and engineering weapons of machinery for Harmony's Prayer.

Personality: Contrary to most of the members in Harmony's Prayer, Keita is rather self-assured, polite, and soft-spoken. In most battles Keita thanks his opponents just before finishing them off, showing a certain amount of courtesy & confidence on the battlefield. He is considered the most psychotic and dangerous of Harmony's Prayer because of his mental instability, and lust for blood. Even when he's stable there's no ceasing psychopathic side, as seen in his smile as he prepares to annihilate his foes. Keita take his time playing with his opponents since he's highly skilled in combat. Usually he's silently mocking them through subtle movements, or facial expressions. Very secretive about his past, and excellent planner as well, often planning ahead to keep her goals in reach. This allows him to work efficiently with Gidela and Masaomi when performing missions. Rather ambitious when it comes to missions. Does not seem to tolerate any failure whatsoever, as he prefers for his goals to be successful point, blank, period. Keita also prefers that such problems be solved quickly, and becomes very frustrated when any well executed plan falls to ruin. He shows fear and hesitance when seeing something that reminds him of his past. Somewhat prideful, quick to anger if he feels he is being taken advantage of or being looked down upon. It's unclear to others if he's truly evil or treacherous. Judging by his behavior and actions, he seems to be somewhat detached from people in general and seeks revenge on the research facility for ruining him. Keita does not revel in fighting like his colleagues. It seems to to be a matter of him choosing to fight in hopes of quelling the negative aspects to his personality.

Weapons: Absolute Balance

Keita wields a cane with a blade hidden within the length of it, attaching at the handle. The handle can act as a grappling hook, capable of going to far distances thanks to the strong metal cord. If used properly the metal cord can be used to capture the enemy, disabling any further movements. Keita is fond of using the bladed section along cane so that he'll be able to used two weapons instead of one.
